Artist Statement

The Lamppost… tall, strong and majestic.  It is the guardian of suburbia. It lights up our streets at night, watching over us, keeping us safe.  Hardly noticed by the people who live nearby – unless it’s not working properly… But there is someone who does notice the lamppost, someone who pays intense attention to the lamppost at any time of the day, whether it is lit up or not…
