From Here to There 2010
This is the title of my body of work from 2010. The photographs here are capturing the confusion, isolation and process of emigrating to another country. Whilst this was a very personal journey for me it also touches the emotions and experiences of displacement that is often experienced with geographical relocation.
My work looks at the home environment, emotions created by displacement, the structure of memories and what is left behind as well as what is newly encountered.
